Holistic Assessment: Your Initial Session at YWB

A Deep Dive into YOU!

Everybody’s journey will look different. This is because at Your Wellbeing, your treatment plan is developed specifically to cater to your individual needs, wants & desires.

After your free phone consultation, you will be offered to make an Initial ‘Deep Dive’ session booking.

During our first session, you will be offered to begin the session with a grounding and intention setting meditation to centre and focus before we begin. This allows you to calm your nervous system down (especially if you are nervous about first time in therapy) and allow you to get clear & focus on your intentions for your new therapy journey.

We then do a 90 minute Deep Dive into YOU.

Life areas that are unpacked include:

~ Physical health + lifestyle

~ Mental health

~ Alcohol/drug use + addictions

~ Self harm + suicidal ideation/attempts

~ Environment + housing

~ Employment + career

~ Financial security + support

~ Education + study

~ Family life + relationships + support ne

tworks + professional support

~ Hobbies + joyful activities

~ Spirituality + relationship with Self

Please note: All your personal information is collected & recorded with full confidentiality and only for the purpose of developing, implementing & reviewing your personalised treatment plan.

We then discuss your wants, needs and goals for therapy. We chat about the life areas you want to improve and the life areas that help you thrive. I get a feel for your strengths and weaknesses, your risk and protective factors and the ways in which you best feel supported.

After your first initial session, all the information gathered is analysed for a treatment plan to be put into place for your journey to healing.

Perhaps you would benefit from unpacking some events through talk therapy, maybe you need a bit more of a hands on approach through case management with working towards goals or perhaps you need some holistic support around chronic pain and the mental health struggles that comes with it. You may even need a mix of all three offerings.

What ever it might be, we will figure it out.

I got you!
