Counselling
Counselling is a form of talk based therapy that operates in a confidential and judgement free zone.
A space to unpack and process emotions, receive validation around your experiences, gain understanding and insight into your thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviour and how they interrelate to each other.
A space to develop your emotional tool box by building self confidence and self esteem, working on communication skills, challenging negative thoughts and beliefs, practising acceptance around things that are out of your control, learning how to support your nervous system and developing a healthier relationship with yourself.
Counselling is perfect for the person who is new to the therapy space who is focused on wanting to unpack one particular event or experience in depth. It is for the person who finds ‘talking it out’ therapeutic and who wants to tell their story. It is for the person who wants to feel seen, heard and understood.
Therapies used in this space:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Solution Focused Therapy
Narrative Therapy
Mindfulness
Counselling services are available Australia wide via: Zoom
Self Development Mentoring
Self Development Mentoring is a holistic, hands on and alternative approach to traditional therapy. Think of it as a space to work on your ‘outer world’. You are a product of your environment and if your ‘outer world’ is in disarray, your ‘inner world’ may feel the same.
These sessions are a fusion of talk therapy, case management, coaching and holistic support. Self Development Mentoring is a more directive and structured approach to therapy that involves goal setting and focuses on desired outcomes. It is a space used to organise your life while utilising your strengths to help you change what isn’t working for you and support and guide you towards paving the way to a more balanced, joyful and harmonious way of living.
One thing that Self Development Mentoring provides - that sets itself aside from other services - is the support that is provided outside of the therapy space through individualised integration work.
Self Development Mentoring sessions can involve:
discovering your values and setting goals
guiding & supporting you in finding different ways to manage chronic illness/pain
equipping you with knowledge and skills around communication, attachment theory and feminine/masculine energies to support your relationship
working on your self worth, self love, self care and building your internal validation system
supporting you in creating daily routines and rituals and making healthy lifestyle changes
developing harm minimisation strategies and plans for substance misuse
creating safety plans for suicidal ideation and self harm
providing alternative recommendations and bio hacking support for you to utilise away from the therapy space
getting you re engaged with your hobbies & interests
supporting you with private practice and small business start ups
guiding you through the process of getting a Government support payment
assisting you in finding safe housing
linking you with other services and practitioners where you might need extra support from eg. a nutritionist or specialist health provider
equipping you with job skills such as resume writing, applying for jobs and developing interview skills
supporting you in new study ventures
assisting you with applying for Government funded business starts eg. NEIS program
supporting year 11-12 students transition out of high school and into early adult hood
helping you organise any area of your life and get you to where you want to be

Couples Counselling
A supportive space for you and your partner to improve your relationship. When we have struggles within our communication, sometimes it can be helpful to have a third party support challenging topics of conversation, share different perspectives, provide new ideas, strategies and solutions and hold space for you to both navigate the current season of your relationship.
Support includes:
Session 1 - Relationship Assessment: a holistic assessment of your relationship using frameworks from The Gottman Method. Both you and your partner are present for this session.
Sessions 2 & 3 - Individual Assessments: a holistic assessment for you and your partner to unpack your individual selves. We discuss all life areas such as physical health, mental health, trauma history and adverse experiences, drug, alcohol and other addictions, relationships & support networks, employment, hobbies/joyful activities, connection to Self and more . These sessions are for you and your partner to attend separately.
Session 4 - Outcomes & Treatment Plan: here, we all come together again to discuss outcomes of assessment and the treatment plan moving forward, ensuring that everyone is on the same page and feels confident about the journey ahead.
Session 5 and beyond - ongoing sessions are focused on implementation of strategies around communication skills, needs/wants, attachment styles, love languages, feminine and masculine polarity, eye gazing, bids of connection and more.
