Self Development Mentoring: Is it for me?

Self development mentoring is my own form of therapy that I’ve cultivated through my education, personal research and my own lived experience & personal healing journey.

Hello to anyone who is new to this space. My name is Danielle Calfas and I am the founder of Your Wellbeing Counselling & Holistic Support.

Let me tell you a bit about myself:

I have qualifications and experience in social work, community services, youth work and physical fitness. I utilise a holistic approach when working with my clients that provides support that looks at the whole person: focusing on physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and continues with environmental, financial, intellectual, nutritional, occupational, and social wellness.

Using a Mind-Body-Spirit framework, I provide confidential counselling and self-development mentoring. When it comes to mental health, I believe that to fully heal and thrive, we need to work on the full spectrum of mind, body and spirit, rather than only focusing on the mind.

I support people in a range of areas including: anxiety, depression, stress, life transition, work burn out, panic attacks, poor sleep hygiene, health concerns, chronic pain management, body image challenges, relationship difficulties, workplace conflict, grief & loss, lifestyle challenges, addiction, anger management, social issues, pregnancy loss and release, cycle/hormonal issues, post traumatic stress, suicidal ideation, poor self esteem, self worth and self confidence and lack of self love or connection to self.

Therapies used include: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solutions Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Mindfulness. I also incorporate somatic practices such as meditation and breathing exercises as well as bio hacking practices, lifestyle changes, nutrition recommendation, therapeutic writing & exploration and alternative protocols.

My goal is to provide clients who are struggling to navigate the complexities of the world we live in with a safe, supportive and empowering service. This is offered with a holistic approach and a one-stop shop for clients to be heard, understood and supported in their overall wellbeing.

Self Development Mentoring
